A LIVELY Labrador-cross puppy was the guest at Bexleyheath Golf Club.
The puppy, named Bracken, is the latest recruit to the Guide Dogs for the Blind training school, thanks to golfers at the club in Mount Road, Bexleyheath.
They managed to raise the £5,000 needed to buy and train a guide dog, for this year's Captain's charity, organised by captain Mike Stephens.
And special school, Shenstone School in Old Road, Crayford, is also benefiting from club members' generosity.
Last year it received more than £2,000 raised by the club and the school, which helps children aged up to 11, has been nominated by incoming ladies' captain Linda Rogers as her charity.
