A NEW flagship centre is set to transform adult education in the borough.
The Granville Park Centre, opening on April 24, will be Lewisham's first purpose-built community education centre.
The centre in Granville Park, Lewisham, is accessible to disabled users and represents an investment of £3.5m by Lewisham Council.
Community Education Lewis- ham will be running accredited and non-accredited courses at the centre, including literacy and numeracy classes.
Cabinet member for culture Councillor Alyson McGarrigle said: "Granville Park has been designed to the latest building specifications incorporating disability and access requirements.
"This will enable all students to take advantage of the modern educational facilities which they deserve."
