CHILDREN can get their hands on a treat this Easter by following a secret woodland trail.
Darenth Country Park, near Darenth Wood Road, Dartford, is gearing up to host an Easter egg hunt for the borough's under-12s on April 9, at noon.
Families will be able to follow the trail and children will discover sweet treats on the way.
A deluxe egg will be given away in a prize draw at the day organised by Dartford Council.
Portfolio holder for parks and open spaces Councillor Patsy Thurlow said: "It's a wonderful opportunity for children and their families to get out and explore the country park."
More than 50 children attended last year's hunt and parents are advised to book a place on the trail in advance.
