SHOPPERS were treated to a taste of life across the channel at a French market.
More than 30 French traders joined the traditional stallholders at Lewisham Market in Lewisham town centre, over the weekend.
Visitors had the chance to sample a range of Gallic cuisine, including creamy cheeses and fine wines.
They could also buy everything from arts and crafts to French perfume.
The market was organised by the Urban Renaissance in Lewisham group as part of its drive to promote the town centre.
