TERRITORIAL Army soldiers have been awarded medals for service in Iraq.
The nine reservists from the Grove Park Territorial Army centre, Napier House, Baring Road, are all members of the 265 (Home Counties) Battery Royal Artillery.
They were based around Basra, southern Iraq, where they carried out guard duties, vehicle and foot patrols and escorting convoys.
Battery commander Major Justin Allen said: "I am very proud of the men and women under my command who were mobilised to Iraq.
"I know they did an excellent job.
"They value the support shown by their families,employers and the community."
The recepients of the Operation Telic medals were Lieutenant Corporal Felicia Kakitie, 38, from Grove Park; Lance Bombardier Claire Ryan, 22, from Mottingham; LBdr Kevin Gordon, 42, from New Cross; Sergeant Tony Rose, 38, from Bromley; LBdr Richard Murray, 23, from Bickley; Gunner Gavin Maryon, 22, from Bromley; Bombardier Colin Powell, 41, from Camberwell; LBdr Martin Fisher, 37, from Singlewell and LBdr Kenny Lee, 33, from Shoeburyness.
