A MULTI-MILLION pound revamp of Lewisham's secondary schools is set to get under way.
Planning bosses have given permission for two schools Catford Business and Enterprise College and Sedgehill School to be rebuilt.
The work will signal the start of the £187m Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.
BSF will see every secondary school in the borough either completely rebuilt or refurbished on its current site.
Catford Business and Enterprise College, Bellingham Road, Catford, will receive a sports hall, new computer blocks and a covered courtyard.
Sedgehill School, Sedgehill Road, Lewisham, will also get a new sports hall, along with a new state-of-the-art performing arts studio.
