GETTING OXYGEN:
A new NHS service to deliver oxygen to patients' homes has encountered teething problems and the new supplier has not been able to meet demand. To help, pharmacies have stepped in and are working with GPs and PCTs to provide emergency supplies to ensure patients receive their oxygen. For more information, call 01732 810414.
HEART OF BROMLEY:
Patients who suffer a heart attack in Bromley are to be treated differently in a bid to cut treatment time. Sufferers previously taken to A&E at The Princess Royal University Hospital and then referred to King's College Hospital for specialist treatment, will now be taken straight to King's for all procedures. For more information, call 01689 863000.
