PARKING attendants in Bromley are doing something wrong.
My son parks in the same parking lot every morning. He pays for a day's parking and mostly keeps his parking ticket for some weeks.
Twice at the end of last year, he received letters from the council demanding £60 for parking fines.
In both cases no penalty notice was put on his car.
For the first occasion he had not kept his parking ticket but had for the second and knew he had displayed it correctly.
Where are the penalty notices?
Were they ever placed on the car or are the parking attendants just writing them and submitting the paperwork to the Parking Shop for demand letters to be sent out? Is there a bonus scheme for attendants?
My son has complained to the Parking Shop and has only just received one letter which states the matter will possibly be investigated.
Meanwhile, time is ticking by without a resolution.
One feels the whole question of parking in the borough is questionable and the so-called Parking Shop is a rotten joke. the admin of which should be investigated and made answerable to the public.
