A BUNCH of seasoned musicians are out to prove you're never too old to rock'n'roll. Swank Deptford are on stage tomorrow night at popular live music venue the Old Tiger's Head.
The band say having plenty of experience doesn't mean they are over the hill.
"The combined age of the Rolling Stones is 246, whereas we are a mere 239 and there's five of us," laughs guitarist Paul Cunningham.
Swank's playlist includes classic tunes from the likes of Van Morrison and the Beatles as well as their own material.
The line-up includes singer Bernadette Reed, who is a familiar face on the thriving Greenwich jazz scene.
Swank Deptford, February 2, Old Tigers Head, Lee High Road, Lee Green, doors 7pm, band on stage 9pm, tickets £2, 020 8244 2014.
