TOO much make-up, tarty clothes and monstrous high heels and that's just the boys. The cult classic film Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming to town next week. For many years now, the film has been more than just a night at the movies.
In a long-standing worldwide tradition, audience members are encouraged to come in outrageous fancy dress.
Each audience member receives a goody bag containing props for use during the film.
This sing-a-long evening features a live host who leads the audience in a choral warm-up and judges the fancy dress competition, awarding prizes to the best dressed.
Then the 1975 hit film is shown, starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Richard O'Brien and rockstar Meatloaf.
Audience members have the chance to sing their hearts out to enduringly popular songs such as the Timewarp and Sweet Transvestite.
Sing-a-long-a Rocky Horror Picture Show (cert 12), February 10, Broadway Theatre, Catford Broadway, 8pm, £13.50, box office 020 8690 0002.
