A GRANDMOTHER has celebrated 30 years of working at a fast-food restaurant.
June Scutts, 62, shared a day of celebrations with staff and friends at McDonald's in Woolwich on January 26.
Mrs Scutts has been at the Powis Street restaurant, the American company's first premises in the UK, since it opened in 1976.
The mother-of-three was presented with an engraved crystal ornament and a bunch of flowers to mark her anniversary.
Mrs Scutts, a customer care manager, said: "I have seen a lot of changes over the past 30 years.
"In 1976, who would have thought we would one day be selling salads, fruit and toasted deli sandwiches.
"Now people whose parties I ran in the 1970s and 1980s are bringing their children to McDonald's for birthday parties."
Mrs Scutts, of Myra Street, Abbey Wood, added: "I have made so many friends at McDonald's. This is what I have enjoyed the most."
