ACTION: Media agency Film London has revealed out of 33 London boroughs, Greenwich came in as the fourteenth most filmed-in location for last year. Cabinet member for culture and community services Vicky Morse said: "It's encouraging to hear Greenwich has become an ever more popular location."
DRUGS WORKERS: A service launched last month to help young offenders get off drugs has got off to a successful start after 23 youngsters voluntarily signed up. The Resettlement and Aftercare Provision programme is now looking for sessional workers. Call 020 8314 6000.
RISING CRIME: Total crime in Greenwich rose by 1.2 per cent last month, compared with the same month last year. Met Police figures show there were 2,336 reported crimes in the borough in December 2005, compared to 2,308 in December 2004.
