WANNABE stars flocked in their hundreds to the Laban Centre as the BBC held its popular Strictly Dance Fever auditions with celebrity presenter Graham Norton.
The camp chat-show host came to the Laban performance school, Creekside, Deptford, where the show is holding its London auditions.
He interviewed and chatted to the 600 contestants who were vying to stay in the contest and consoled unlucky competitors as judges wittled the list down to just 30.
Auditions are being held nationwide and the second series of the show will be screened later this year.
Laban's event manager Samantha Lacey said: "We were thrilled to host the Strictly Dance Fever auditions.
"The tough panel of judges, Arlene Phillips, Stacey Hayes, Ben Richards and Wayne Sleep, judged hundreds of contestants.
"Many were local, dancing all sorts of styles from salsa to street and ballroom to bodypopping."
