CAMERA SET ALIGHT: A speed camera was set alight in Valley Drive, Gravesend. A tyre was placed around the camera and set fire to on January 27 at 5.17am. Police and firefighters attended the scene. The device had recently been replaced after it was pulled down in October. It cost £18,000 to replace the camera and another vandalised device in Meopham.
CRACKED JAW: A 17-year-old boy was left with a cracked jaw after being assaulted opposite St John's Comprehensive School, Rochester Road, Gravesend. The victim was approached by up to four youths before being punched at 3.20pm. Anyone with information about the January 24 attack, should call police on 01474 565211.
CAR RESCUE: A woman had to be released from her car by firefighters after a collision on Janruary 28. The incident happened on the A2 London-bound at Pepper Hill at 8.57pm. Two fire engines attended the scene. The driver was travelling alone and was taken to hospital following the accident.
WHEELS ON FIRE: A blue Peugeot 404 estate and a BMW parked a short distance from each other in St Albans Road, Gravesend, were set alight between 5.20am and 6.20am. Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the road on January 24 to call them on 01322 283096.
