RAIL passengers faced delays to their journey after a violent attack forced police to close a station's subway.
Northfleet station's subway, near Station Road, was closed between 4pm and 7.35pm after a man was attacked and left bleeding.
Police were called to the incident and closed the tunnel, which gives access to the London-bound platform, to gather forensic evidence.
During the investigation eight trains were unable to stop at the station.
The man was taken to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be life threatening. Anyone with information on the January 24 attack, should call British Transport Police on 020 7391 5275.
