A PROFESSIONAL women's group raised money to help war survivors with a Burns Night supper.
Members of the Gravesend Soroptimist Club raised £129 in a raffle at the event in The Granby Hotel, The Hill, Northfleet.
The money will be donated to Project Independence, which helps women war survivors rebuild their lives.
The evening featured a piper and traditional Scottish dancing.
Members of the group read poems by Robert Burns and carried out the tradition of formally addressing the haggis with a poem, music and applause.
The club meet twice a month at Christ Church Hall, Old Road East, Gravesend, at 7.30pm.
