YOUNGSTERS could win a day in a recording studio by composing a song about their community.
Children from Greenhithe aged between 10 and 16 could win a day at Streets Ahead, a Strood-based community studio.
They need to write at least three verses of a song about what it is like to live in Greenhithe to be in with a chance of securing one of six places for the half-term event.
Residents' group Greenhithe Action Fund For All has organised the competition.
Committee member Sheryl Stocking said: "They will get the chance to use decks, mix beats and put their song onto a CD.
"It will be a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in making music."
The closing date for the competition is February 10.
Lyrics should be sent to: Miss Stocking, Cyber Place, 5 The Parade, High Street, Swancombe, DA10 0AJ.
