GET fit and help raise cash for a good cause by taking part in a national charity swim.
Bexley's three swimming pools are taking part in Swimathon 2006 in March to raise cash for the National Children's Homes charity.
Organisers are urging people to start training for the event now.
The Swimathon celebrates its 20th birthday this year and the Bexley pools are just three of 500 pools taking part.
Eighty per cent of the cash raised will go to the children's charity.
The other 20 per cent will be distributed by the Swimathon Foundation, which provides funds to small charities and not-for-profit organisations which benefit people's health and wellbeing.
Each Bexley pool has its own organiser for the event. Visit swimathon.org
