PEOPLE who suffer from disabling head pains including migraine and cluster headaches have won support from an MP.
Old Bexley and Sidcup MP Derek Conway is one of 67 MPs who have signed an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons urging the Government to make sure NHS services provide the necessary treatment and support.
Mr Conway estimates more than 10,000 people in his constituency suffer from debilitating head pains.
He said: "I am happy to support this cause which is so often a hidden need of my constituents and am calling for services to be better targeted for managing their serious headache disorders."
A recent survey by Headache UK revealed four per cent of people have lost their jobs because of headaches, 30 per cent said it had affected their education and 53 per cent said it had affected their career.
