BATON twirlers chosen to represent England are searching for sponsorship because their event is not officially recognised.
Riverside Reflections have been chosen as part of a national team of 80 to attend the World Baton Twirling Championships in Holland in April.
But they need to find at least £7,000 to send all of the 10 performers, aged between 12 and 28, on the trip.
Their discipline is not a recognised sport so they cannot apply to agencies such as the Sports Council for funding.
The troupe is practising 10 hours each week in the Miskin Theatre at North West Kent College, Oakfield Lane, Dartford.
Team leader Clare Johnson, 33, is thrilled her girls have been chosen.
She said: "The girls can't get any financial help towards this and we would love to find a sponsor to help them out.
"If there is a business or a charity which can help us it would be fantastic. They are really working hard for this and I don't want them to miss out."
If you can help the group, call Mrs Johnson on 07985 617976.
