A VIEW of old Erith is on offer at a new display in the town's museum.
The event involves newly-discovered photographs which, when put together, give a 360-degree view of the town.
Local historian Ken Chamberlain made the find when a man from Faversham dropped into the museum on the first floor of the library in Walnut Tree Road.
He said his grandfather, who had lived in Erith, had died and while clearing his loft, he came across a bundle of old photographs.
When Mr Chamberlain examined them he found nine pictures which gave a view right across the town.
Mr Chamberlain has dated them to 1906.
Bexley Council's local Studies and Archive Centre has copied them for its archives.
