GIFT packages for the London Eye, customised T-shirts and iPod covers were all on sale to the discerning shopper in Bexleyheath at the weekend.
The sellers were not experienced commercial operators they were school students taking part in an annual programme to learn more about business.
Youngsters aged between 14 and 17 from seven Bexley secondary schools took part in a trade fair to sell their own products.
Teams from Townley Grammar School, Beths Grammar School, Bexleyheath School, Welling School, Bexley Grammar School, St Catherine's RC School for Girls and Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School have been setting up their own companies as part of the Young Enterprise programme.
They have to elect their own board of directors and put together a practical project which involves producing and marketing their own product.
The students have come up with a range of merchandise which they are now hoping to sell to the public and make a success of their "business".
They will be back in the shopping mall again this Saturday from 9am until 5.30pm.
