Those wanting to study floristry can take an Advanced National Certificate in Floristry which is designed for those with experience in working with flowers.
This course includes retail, marketing and historical and contemporary flower design.
Or, a National Certificate in Floristry Level 2 for those with no related qualifications or experience.
Canterbury College runs a number of part-time courses in floristry, including fun with flowers and a creative skills certificate in contemporary floral design Courses are free of charge to those aged 16-18 or in receipt of benefit.
All students are offered experience in the college florist shop, Canterbury Flowers.
