THE BEXLEY DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP
On Saturday, January 14 members had a very interesting guided tour of the National Maritime Museum. The two guides, Roger McLean and David Sims-Baker, told the stories behind some of the exhibits and their role in the maritime history of this country. Keeping active is most important for diabetics and other outings are planned for the group this year, new members are most welcome.
The Diabetes UK Bexley Support Group offers mutual support, information and advice to people affected by diabetes - those with the condition and those who care for them, through monthly newsletters, and meetings when speakers are invited to talk to the group and answer questions on all aspects of relative healthcare. Meetings are held on the third Friday of each month (excluding August) at the United Reformed Church, Geddes Place, Bexleyheath at 7.30pm. Please phone Sheila Burston 0208 3022446 for further information.
