BABIES and toddlers stretched their imaginations to create picture books with a children's illustrator.
Charlotte Firmin made a visit to Gravesend Library, Windmill Street, Gravesend, to entertain under-fours with singing and story writing.
She asked children to shout out ideas for stories they would like to write.
The illustrator, with the guidance of the children, then brought the ideas to life with drawings.
The end result was two books, Animal Fair and The Gravesend Song Book.
Community librarian Sue Reed said: "The children had a wonderful time.
"They came up with some imaginative ideas."
