KENT Scouts are appealing for volunteers to join the 2,400 others who lend a hand with the organisation in the county.
The Scout Association organises regular meetings and activities for young people nationwide.
Kent has one of the largest scouting communities in the UK.
Volunteers can lend a hand and work directly with young people by assisting activities, collecting membership fees and helping run meetings.
They can also get involved in administration by taking roles such as group chairman, secretary and treasurer.
Men and women over the age of 18 can with a commitment to the aims of scouting can volunteer.
