A SHOP owner is appealing for the return of a Penny Farthing bike which has stood on her roof for two decades.
Sally Taylor, 42, owns the Pine Shop in Sevenoaks Road, Pratts Bottom, and over the new year thieves ripped the bike from the cement which held it in place.
The mother-of-two is distraught because the Penny Farthing, which has wooden pedals and copper wheels, was made by her father, who died 10 years ago.
It is the trademark of her family's 25-year-old business and is printed on all its letter heads.
Mrs Taylor said: "The only value it has is sentimental. Maybe someone has seen it? We just want it back."
Call Mrs Taylor on 01689 852940 if you have information.
