CHILDREN can learn about birds in their school grounds by taking part in the RSPB Big School's Birdwatch.
The charity wants teachers and children to watch and count birds for an hour in their school grounds or park.
This activity will help monitor which species of birds can be found in Bromley.
RSPB London project officer Jo Bunner said: "It's a great way for schools and teachers to look outside the classroom to see what creatures are all around them.
"They can see what they can do to help wildlife and learn about how to encourage wildlife into their school grounds."
The birdwatch can be done anytime until February 3. Call 08701 222793 for a birdwatch pack.
