A CHARITY'S dream to build a centre for women with breast cancer is closer to becoming reality.
The Primrose Foundation has spent two-and-a-half years raising money to convert the chapel on the old Farnborough Hospital site.
Following a tendering process, work is due to start in April and will take 26 weeks.
The Primrose Centre's design will aim to create as much light and space as possible.
The centre will offer breast screening and support services including aromatherapy, reflexology, counselling and patient information.
The charity's founder, Mary Spinks, said: "We have a wonderful team in place to achieve a marvellous centre but we continue to need more funds."
