A HAIRDRESSER'S ex-boyfriend has been given a restraining order to stop him terrorising her.

Jonathan Cooper, aged 31, of Highclere Street, Sydenham, was accused of harassing Lisa Wicks from December 2004 to May last year.

Bromley Magistrates' Court heard Cooper visited Baccarat Hairdressers, High Street, Beckenham, to see Miss Wicks several times during that period.

Prosecutor Robert Davis said incidents included Cooper smashing the salon's front window, throwing photos of Miss Wicks' family on the floor of the salon and shouting abuse.

Cooper also contacted her at her home address in Hackington Crescent.

Colin Burton, for Cooper, said: "He admitted to chucking photos on the shop floor, explaining that he did not know any other way of returning them."

Under the terms of the order, Cooper is not allowed to contact Lisa Wicks or her parents, not go to Miss Wick's home or call or visit her work.

He is also not allowed to go within 100m of Baccarat Hairdressers unless he is on public transport.

This order will last for two years from January 19, when Cooper appeared in court for sentencing.

He must also attend an alcohol and drug rehabilitation programme, one for domestic violence and pay £50 costs.
