PUB regulars and landlords have put their hands in their pockets to raise more than £2,000 for cancer patients.
Drinkers at the White Swan pub, Ash Road, New-Ash-Green, raised the cash by taking part in raffles and donating winnings from a weekly lottery syndicate.
The cash was raised in aid of Darent Valley Hospital's cancer fighting fund to help those suffering from the disease.
Landlady Valerie Lane, 46, said: "It was fantastic to have the suppot of all our customers and we were so pleased to see them all help out for a good cause."
The hospital, in Darent Wood Road, still needs to find more than £10,000 to buy a Pill-Cam, a new machine to detect bowel cancer.
If you can help, call the hospital's fundraising team on 01322 428256.
