BOGUS CALLERS: Two purses containing cash were taken from the home of an 80-year-old woman in Trevithick Drive, Dartford, after she let in two men claiming to be from the water board. The men are white, 6ft tall and were wearing navy blue jackets. Anyone with information should call police on 01474 565167.
MEET BOBBY: PC James Walker, the beat officer for Kings Farm, Gravesend, will be holding a surgery to meet residents from the surrounding area on February 7. He will be available to discuss concerns and give residents information between 2pm and 4pm at the Kings Farm Housing Office, Kitchener Road.
BAGS TAKEN: A 36-year-old woman was held against a fence in Leander Drive, Gravesend, while her jewellery and shopping bag stolen by a gang of five youths. Anyone with information about the robbery, between 5.30pm and 5.50pm on January 10, should call 01474 565167.
OFFICE FIRE: An arson attack caused £8,000 of damage to an office at Canal Road industrial park in Gravesend. Anyone who saw anything suspicious between 3.45pm on January 13 and 8.30am on January 14 should call 01322 283096.
