A NEW season of ball court football kicks off this week in Bexley.
The league involves young players aged 14 to 19 years old, in teams of five to seven players, who play in a series of five-a-side matches.
The matches are played on a small enclosed court the first step up from playing in the street.
Mixed teams are welcome and registration and games are free.
Just turn up on the first or second week, to register your team.
The ballcourt venues are: Mondays, 6.30pm, Wolvercote Road, Thamesmead; Tuesdays, 6.30pm, East Wickham Open Space, Wickham Street, Welling; Wednesdays, 6.30pm, Westwood College, The Green, Welling, or Royal Park, Riverside Road, Sidcup; Thursdays 5.30pm, Woodside School, Halt Robin Road, Belvedere, or 6.30pm Ocean Park, West Street, Erith.
There is a training session every Monday from 7.30pm to 9pm at Erith School, in Avenue Road.
