AN INQUIRY is under way after a police car responding to an emergency call collided with another vehicle.
The marked police car hit a Renault Megane as it sped through traffic lights at the junction between Gravel Hill and Albion Way, in Bexleyheath.
Both drivers were taken to Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup. The police officer was released after treatment, while the female driver was kept in overnight for observation.
The police car's sirens and blue lights were on at the time of the crash, which happened at 10.10pm on January 19.
