BUDDING circus entertainers got an opportunity to learn a range of big-top activities from the pros.
The Clowning Around day at the Priory shopping centre, Lowfield Street, Dartford, was officially opened by performers from the Moscow State Circus.
They entertained the crowds with acrobatics, stunts and demonstrations.
An independent circus group also offered free workshops throughout the day.
Shoppers could try their hand at juggling, diablo, stilt-walking and other circus activities.
Roger Southam, managing director of Chainbow, which owns the centre, said: "Clowning Around is the perfect pick-me-up for all those suffering from post-holiday blues."
