A FATHER-OF-TWO has admitted two driving offences.
Bir Singh, aged 41, of Stanbrook Road, Graves- end, appeared before Dartford Magistrates' Court on January 17 charged with careless driving and failing to stop.
Prosecutor David Skelton told the court on August 6 last year Singh's vehicle collided with another car at the Old Road West junction with Darnley Road, Gravesend, injuring the other driver.
Mr Skelton said Singh left the scene of the accident through fear after several people came out of a nearby pub.
Gurnam Mander, mitigating, described his client as a man "of previous good character".
Mr Mander said: "He does apologise for the accident. He is a family man with a wife and two children aged 12 and 10."
Singh was fined £235 with £35 costs and had five penalty points added to his licence.
