AN AMATEUR drama group helped people beat the January blues by staging an adaption of pantomime Sleeping Beauty.
The Pavilion Players took to the stage throughout January at Joydens Wood Community Centre, Birchwood Drive, Wilmington.
More than 20 actors performed a version of the story, which has been adapted by a member of the group.
Youngsters from dance schools in the area also stepped in to entertain the crowds.
All of the costumes for the performance were made by members of the group.
Treasurer Laura Davis said: "People get fed up after Christmas and this is quite good fun."
