A CHILDREN'S book illustrator will visit Gravesend Library in a bid to attract young children to reading.
Charlotte Firmin visits Windmill Street library at 11am on January 24.
She will entertain children with rhymes and stories.
The illustrator's visit marks the launch of the Bookstart Book Crawl, a library-joining incentive for babies and children aged up to four years old.
The scheme allows children to collect a sticker each time they visit and awards them with a certificate after they collect five.
By joining the scheme at Gravesham library children are automatically entered into a competition for prizes including vouchers, books and toys.
To enter, visit the library from January 24 to January 26.
