LESSONS became poetry in motion when an internationally-renowned poet dropped in on a class of children.
Jamaican-born performance poet Valerie Bloom hosted a workshop at St Joseph's RC Primary School, Old Road, Crayford.
Fifteen pupils from school attended the class, along with five pupils from Barnes Cray Primary School and St Paulinus Primary School, both in Iron Mill Lane, Crayford.
Mayplace Primary School, Woodside Road, Barnehurst, also sent five pupils to the workshop.
St Joseph's headteacher Pauline Reen said: "The children produced some excellent poetry.
"I believe working with neighboring schools has a positive impact on pupils and staff."
