A WOMAN whose sons' drug trafficking was described as "a commercial family enterprise" has been ordered to forfeit £6,000 by a court.
In November last year Irene Cook, aged 50, of Blenheim Drive, Welling, was sentenced to 200 hours' community punishment at Blackfriars Crown Court for possession of cannabis and allowing her home to be used for the supply of drugs.
She and her sons Ryan, aged 19, and Marcus, aged 27, were arrested after police raided their home in September and found cocaine, cannabis and £6,000 in cash.
Also in November, Ryan was jailed for 12 months on two charges of possession of cannabis with intent to supply and Marcus was put on an 18-month drug treatment and testing order for possessing cocaine.
Officers from Bexley police's financial investigation unit then set about estimating Mrs Cook's financial gain from the family's drug-dealing activities.
Blackfriars Crown Court has now ordered she should forfeit £6,000.
