It is hard to believe some faces you regularly see on the big screen and on TV could once be seen wandering through The Glade park in Sidcup on their way to college.
Not just any old college but, Rose Bruford, OF Burnt Oak Lane. In fact the college has been making a name for itself over the years by producing a number of household stars. Another face which may be familiar to millions is Gillian Kearney. Since graduating from the college 10 years ago she has appeared in prime-time dramas Where The Heart Is, Heartbeat, Midsomer Murders and Clocking Off. She is currently playing Sue in Shameless.
And it is not only people who appear in front of the cameras that Rose Bruford produces.
The college also offers undergraduate courses to prepare people for a career behind the scenes, such as directing, costume production and stage management.
