FARM FIRE: Fire crews from Biggin Hill, Orpington, Bromley and Addington tackled a blaze in a barn at Holwood Farm, Shire Lane, Farnborough, last Sunday night. The building which is used for making animal hutches was severely damaged.
CURFEW ORDER: Princy Kafuti, aged 23, of Tennyson Road, Penge, admitted defrauding Bromley Council of benefits totalling more than £8,000. He was sentenced to a four-month curfew order at Bromley Magistrates' Court, on January, 4.
BENEFIT STING: Robert Sopher, aged 24, of Genoa Road, Penge, admitted defrauding Bromley Council of £3,500 benefits. He was ordered to do a 100-hour community punishment and pay £100 costs by Bromley magistrates on January 5.
FRAUD FINE: Paul Emuan, aged 33, of Croydon Road, Penge, admitted defrauding Bromley Council of benefits totalling £1,800. He was fined £250 and ordered to pay £50 costs at Bromley Magistrates' Court, on January, 11.
