A LANDLORD who runs his own building firm has been ordered to pay £3,000 after he failed to repair a tenant's house.
Trevor McClymont ignored complaints from his tenant in Dorset Road, Mottingham, about problems with the roof, walls, windows and central heating system.
McClymont, of McClymont Construction, Chapel Road, West Norwood, was found guilty in his absence of failing to comply with a housing repair notice.
He was fined £2,500 and ordered to pay £500 costs by Bromley magistrates.
McClymont must complete the works detailed in the repair notice issued in March last year as well as paying the fines and costs decided on January 4.
