PUBLIC consultations on the future of the borough's best town centre start tomorrow.
Bromley Council has made a list of options to safeguard the town as a leading centre over the next 15 years.
This includes expanding The Glades shopping centre and creating a new square near the Churchill Theatre.
The council also wants to attract more bars, restaurants and cafes.
There are also plans to attract more retail companies after the closure of Allders and the Army & Navy store two years ago.
Local economy portfolio holder Councillor Colin Bloom said: "There are some really dynamic and exciting ideas which will breathe new life into the town while preserving the best of the character which makes Bromley special."
Approximately 25 per cent of Bromley's workforce is employed in the town centre.
Plans can be seen at the following dates and locations:
From tomorrow until Saturday at The Glades shopping centre, Bromley High Street.
From Monday until January 27 at the Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley.
From January 30 to February 13 at Central Library, High Street, Bromley.
From February 13 to February 17 at the Civic Centre.
From February 20 to February 24 at Bromley Adult Education Centre, Nightingale Lane, Bromley.
