MUSLIMS in the borough have celebrated an important religious festival with the whole community.
Bromley Muslim Cultural Association organised a meal and Indian music for Eid-ul-Adha.
More than 150 people went along to the event in Crofton Halls, Crofton Road, Orpington.
And prayers were organised for more than 100 women and children in Chislehurst Sports and Country Club, Elmstead Lane, Chislehurst.
Eid-ul-Adha is the celebration of sacrifice which marks the end of the Hajj, the annual Mecca pilgrimage.
Association secretary Rubina Saifuddin said: "We founded the association six months ago because there are many Muslim people of different nationalities, such as Turkish and Pakistani, in the borough but no organisation to incorporate them all."
