THE fire brigade is to use police-style incident boards in the borough to try and catch arsonists.
Large yellow boards asking people to call Crimestoppers will be placed in areas where there have been arson attacks.
The boards are similar to the crime incident boards used by the police and were introduced to Bromley on Monday.
This introduction comes after they were trialled in Newham, Southwark and Tower Hamlets from May last year.
London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority chairman Val Shawcross said: "The boards raise the profile of arson in our communities and get the message across there is a confidential way for anyone with information about an arson attack to stop it from happening again."
The arson boards are also now being used in Barking and Dagenham, Barnet, Bexley, Camden, Croydon, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Islington, Lewisham and Merton.
