AUDIENCES can get close to the magic when the award-winning illusionist Geoffrey Durham brings his one-man show to Greenwich Theatre, opening tommorow for three nights. Durham says his latest show, No Hat, No Rabbit will be a magical night of humour and a chance to study the trickery closely; during the intervals he will be in the bar and auditorium demonstrating tricks right under people's noses.
Durham became famous as the spangly-suited children's TV favourite Great Soprendo and was a familiar face on the Channel 4 show Countdown, making more than 160 appearances.
Durham said: "This show includes several of the sort of close-up tricks I do on TV but also looks at what we can make people believe through a combination of suggestion and sleight-of-hand."
No Hat No Rabbit, January 19 - 21, Greenwich Theatre, Crooms Hill, 8pm, tickets £14-£18/£12-£16 concs, 020 8858 7755.
