COMEDY meets rock n' roll at a popular Lee Green live music venue next week. The comedy trio Dominguez Popstar are appearing at the Old Tigers Head.
Their show is based around a cheesy, failed one-hit-wonder latin popstar, Dominguez, who is desperately trying to make a comeback.
They have appeared on Capital FM, where DJ Steve Penk described their act as fantastic', and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Comedian Jody Kamali, who plays the oily superstar himself, says: "This is the first time we've performed in south-east London. Lee Green has seen nothing like this in all its history.
"The show has silly Latin songs, our latest pop video, a spoof-take of MTV cribs and other entertaining antics."
Dominguez Popstar, January 26, The Old Tigers Head, Lee High Road, Lee Green, 8pm, £5, 0208-2442014.
