KENTISH Opera is looking for new chorus singers to take part in its latest production of Bizet's The Pearl Fishers. The opera will be staged at Bromley's Churchill Theatre from May 9 to May 13.
The show will feature top soloists from companies such as from the English National Opera.
Director Sally Longford said: "The chorus has a major involvement in the production, not only providing vocal accompaniment, but also adding to the action and atmosphere of life in Sri Lanka, playing exciting scenes such as the unruly crowd around a sacrificial pyre baying for revenge and death. It's all gripping stuff."
