CANCER services in the borough are "well organised and responsive", according to an independent review.
The four-yearly review of Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust was conducted by South East London Cancer Network.
It measured the trust's cancer services against the Department of Health's manual of cancer standards.
The manual provides a series of guidelines which ensure hospitals deliver high-quality care.
In a letter to the trust about the results, the director of the cancer reviews in London Mike Bellamy wrote: "The trust provided a well organised and responsive cancer service which the population holds in high regard."
Cancer networks are set up by the NHS.
They help an area's cancer organisations including primary care trusts and charities work together to develop better services for patients.
The cancer review took place last November.
